  Banfield is a high volume facility that makes its money off of wellness plans plain and simple. They overcharge and under deliver- My husband and I are out of the country and our house sitter brought our dog in due to an unfortunate accident. She was face timing with us and the girl at the front desk Megan was SO incredibly rude and gave such attitude to us on the phone during an emergency it was unbelievable. They hire the WORST people at the front to deal with customer service- this isn't the first time this has happened. The front desk girls are not compassionate with terrible bedside manner. So they say my dog need's surgery- but that they will do blood work to see if he's a candidate and then call to see if we wanted to proceed. There was no call. They went right into surgery without notifying us. After the surgery, the front desk called our house sitter and said he will be ready to be picked up in an hour. Not ONCE did a vet call to discuss anything- no details- nothing. We have no idea what vet did the surgery!! No one called to let us know about details or anything- just that he's doing fine and will be ready to be picked up in an hour. HOW is that ok? When our house sitter picked him up we finally said via face time we wanted to speak to the doctor- they told her that we couldn't speak to anyone before we paid. Once again, HOW is that ok? The front desk girl positioned the phone so she wouldn't have to look at us. I will say the doctor was super nice and very thorough- but after such a terrible time with the front desk girls, it leaves such a bad taste in my mouth. Of course it was cheaper for me to put him on this wellness plan-so now I'm locked in to 12 months of this dealing with horrendous customer service. They should be ashamed of themselves.

  My dog has seizures. Banfield has given my dog a prescription that has stopped her seizures. We were running low and went to our pharmacy to get a refill (we had 4 but the refills have expired on time). My pharmacy has called up at the Winter Garden location all week and faxed requests. They let us know they haven't heard back and my wife called to get them to approve the refill. They have not. We are now down to 1 pill, the doctor there today won't meet us for a short visit to give us the prescription, they won't sign off on the prescription and they are saying there is nothing they can do. My dog could have a seizure and die. Thanks for your help. We have been trying to get them to refill this for a week. How long does it take to return a phone call. I have been a customer with 2 pets at Banfield for over 7 years. My favorite part was while on hold I am listening to a hold message about "how at Banfield we know this goes beyond just a doctor's visit..." All I care about is getting my dog her prescription. Someone call me back and do the right thing.
